I often get notices bout applications attempting to connect to remote servers, ones I don’t recognize, and on ports I’m not familiar with. I’m used to using WHOIS and DNS queries to determine who the host is, and to Google for information about the port, but that takes a long time. What do you do? Any tips on how to do this better would be appreciated.
