hi,
today i mistakenly click “allow” button on HIPS alert.so i try to change HIPS allow/block setting.i click Setting tab===>HIPS app control ===>general===> and click “manage” button. the window pops up, but about 3secs later it disappear. so i can’t do anything with HIPS allow/block setting.
can someone help me?
I have just encountered the same problem. After left-clicking the ‘Manage’ button on the HIPS module, the new window appears but disappears as soon as the list of exe’s appear, before I can tick the one I want to change from ‘Block’ to ‘Allow’.
What other active security applications are you running?
What is your screen resolution (and have you changed it)? (may not be related, but some other users have had problems with these windows resulting from too high of a DPI).
hi LM, i use : CFP2.4,CAVS , CBO, and superantispyware (it’s not running, for on demand scanning only).
my screen resolution is : 1280 by 800pixels (control panel, display, setting).
Right-click your desktop, select Properties (quicker than going thru Control Panel), then Settings. In the Settings tab, click the “Advanced” button. On the General tab of the window that opens, there is a “DPI” setting. Some users have indicated that when it’s set to 120 (instead of 96) they have problems.
That’s the info I was looking for; sorry for improperly explaining.
