HELP with YouTube

I am using the latest version of CD.

I know this is irrelevant to browsers. But when I am watching videos on YouTube sometimes it forces me to use html5 instead of flash. I have NEVER opted in to try html5. There are lots of problems with html5, esp if you pause / rewind it often.

So, is there any way I can disable html5 in my browser? Or install any extensions to control it?

Can either of you provide any links to ‘problem’ videos?

Actually I have found a temporary solution to this problem.

This seems to be a random problem when YouTube wants users to try out their HTML5 version.

So, whenever the browser loads the HTML5 player, right-click on the player and select About HTML5. On that page, click Join the Trial; after that, it would say you are in the trial. Now, click Leave the Trial. Without closing the browser, reload the video again. It will then load the Flash version.

At least this works for me every time. Please let me know if it works for you.

From my experience, there is not any specific videos. Even the same video, this morning it opens in Flash and tonight it opens in HTML5. ;D
