Help with Remote Assistance via Latest Windows Live Messenger

Hey, I don’t remember what was supposed to be done to allow access for this computer to go to another n vice versa. I have my laptop next to me and I was trying to connect via Windows Live Messenger sending an invite, but when I send it from laptop to this pc and accept it just seems to attempt connecting for like 5 mins and then times out.

I have added Windows Live Messenger as a Trusted App but that still doesn’t seem to allow me to connect to my laptop. Both the laptop and this pc have the latest version of CIS and WLM. Any help would be much appreciated and if I figure it out I’ll post back with what I did.
