Am running CFP 3.0.14.276. On the “View Firewall Events” page I see events blocked with port information entries such as Source port “Type”(1) and Destination port “Code”(3). My question is where can I find the information that explains what these numbers mean. Sorry if this has been done to death but using global forum searches of “firewall event codes” or “firewall codes” returns nothing of use for my question. Maybe is in the help file but I have yet to be able to open any help files, as the firewall crashes everytime I click “help”!
Ok, I am an official dumbass! I didn’t see my post after I sent it, so I did a search using Type(#) and found my post, and directly under it the answer I was looking for! There is a txt file that can be downloaded that explains what I was hoping to find…just go to: Re: ICMP Type(3) Code(13) What does this mean? « Reply #5 on: December 11, 2007, 02:44:14 AM »
Errr, later!
Thanks for that Gordon72. I was wondering about the details myself.
