HELP - virus database is gone

I am using CIS 5.12. Lenovo ThinkVantage shows a serious warning that Antivirus is disabled. When I check Comodo, it says I haven’t performed a full scan (which has been done weekly for a long time). I click on “Do it Now” and the Virus Database Update is pooping up - and is doing nothing, just checking for updates…

This is just wrong, how can it be fixed?

Do you get an error message from CIS when it cannot update the av database? Did you recently install CIS?

Please make sure there are no leftovers of security programs you had installed in the past. A possible left over can cause all sort of “strange effects”. Please run clean up tools for all security programs you had in the past. A list can be found here at the Eset website: ESET Knowledgebase .
