i used CIS sandbox and opened firefox, i downloaded a file but i don’t know where it is. firefox downloads all files to desktop. but when i opened it with CIS sandbox, i didn’t saved the file to desktop.
when i used sandboxie, it asks me to recover the downloaded file. but CIS sandbox didn’t asked me. how to use CIS sandbox and recover downloaded files. i don’t want to use sandboxie, because CIS has sandbox facility. please tell me…
It’s in C:\VritualRoot\ folder which is hidden by default.
First, you have to enable “Show hidden files and folders” in Windows Explorer.

Yes, in theory it should be enought to guarantee your safety: once you run your browser in the sandbox, you don’t need automatic sandbox for unknown files etc etc…but, as you could see, it’s not so versatile like sandboxie (if you use sandboxie you can also install softwares and test them!!)…they should improve and develop this feature…I asked Languy to test it on youtube, as no one tried it afaik…lets see…still waiting for a reply…
