I have downloaded, installed and configured CIS (free edition) but have misplaced my password to get into the program. If anyone could help me and tell me what I can do to get the password back and/or change the password it would certainly be appreciated.

Try the following:
Go To Start > type in regedit
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro\Configurations\0\Settings, change value 1 to 0 by pressing modify on entry PasswordEnabled.
Check whether value is 0 for PasswordEnabled entry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro\Configurations\1\Settings.
Reboot computer. Now The Password Has Been Reset
If Comodo Firewall doesn’t allow regedit to change those registry items, try to boot in safe mode and repeat those steps
