[Help!] Cant Install CIS4 from CIS3

I’ve got your autorun log. Its clear, but you have AVG installed. AVG is incompatible with COMODO Internet Security and most probably AVG blocks CIS installation. You can try to disable AVG and install CIS, but it is very risky - your system may crash because both CIS and AVG can’t be installed on the same OS.
If you want to upgrade to CIS 4 I recommend you to uninstall AVG and then install CIS.
NB: it is important to reboot your PC between uninstalling AVG and installing CIS.

Hi elGeminy, thanks for your response.

i’ve edited a registry key and uninstalled AVG. managed to get CIS installed. now running both antivirus and firewall from Comodo. Hope things work out good from the shift.

funny thing, because i’m running AVG 9 and CIS 4 firewall on my netbook and it works flawlessly. :slight_smile:

Good choice! I am sure that COMODO AV is much better than AVG in its detection level
