Ok when another box tries to browse the network I get a pop up and I click on allow, but it allows every other box on my lan how can I just allow one at a time on the lan as they come in ? I went into the policy and changed it to single IP that worked but, in the future how can i make it so its just single ip when i click allow its like its allowing the whole range on my netowrk and not just the one pc trying to connect

I don’t get a word of this last sentence, but if i have correctly understood the previous one, it is enough either to make separate rules for each mac adress, either to assign static lan ip to each computer and to make separate rules for each ip.
Alternatively, high cis security settings will report the port and ip of the requester, allowing you to either allow or deny some lan ip on the fly (without memorizing this decision).
ok i set to max alert settings I have it on custom policy mode for firewall , and on the fly I just allowed a lan connection inside the custom policy it added a IP mask , so now all the other lan machines can hop on, how can I make it so it doesnt do mask ???
I understand you allowed the rule on the fly (e.g. did not make a rule out of it) and failed because the firewall did not allow the single requesting ip but the whole LAN.
Next time you are prompted, make a remember rule, and edit this new rule: instead of how it has been automatically set by the firewall (something like 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255), correct it to the single ip you wish, say 192.168.0.2, and shift the rule to “ask”.
Do the same with every other 192.168.0.n adress you are concerned with.
