heads up, trying to find firewall data base

just a heads up for anybody looking for the cislogs.sdb
comodo help locates it here:
By default, CIS stores the log file in Support DataBase (SDB) format as cislogs.sdb file which is located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Comodo\Firewall Pro

however going to that path is inaccessbile in windows 7, see attachment, windows shell game of some sort!
the path where cislogs is located is:
C:\Users\All Users\COMODO\Firewall Pro

I know after seeing it, it should be obvious, but at first I missed it and spent too much time trying to figure out how to get access there,

For Vista and later the logs are in :\ProgramData\Comodo\Firewall Pro.

Vista and later do not have the Application Data folder:

In Windows Vista or later Operating Systems, the default location of user data has changed. The Application Data folder is not an actual folder. It is a Junction Point for backward compatibility. A Junction Point is a physical location on a local hard disk that points to another location on that disk or another storage device. It is essentially a shortcut.

You might have noticed when clicking on a folder in Windows Explorer with a shortcut icon shown on it (a Junction Point ), you get an Access Denied error message. This is to be expected. By default, the Read permission for Junction Points is set to Everyone – Deny . You are not supposed to access these folders, and there really is no reason to access these folders.

The equivalent of the Application Data folders in Vista and later is called AppData.

The wonderful world of windows explorer on windows 7 evidently has 2 paths in explorer that point to the same place.
C:\Users\All Users\COMODO\Firewall Pro\ is the same place as
\ProgramData\Comodo\Firewall Pro
Too bad for MS, I guess for backward compatibility etc., things get somewhat convoluted

comodo might want to update their documentation on the link below to give the paths above

Can you post the error in the Help file in Help & simple GUI text mistakes - CIS board?

oops spoke too soon, that is now locked, see below

Can you try again accessing that board? It should be open for regular users.

When submitting use the guideline [url=https://forums.comodo.com/bug-reports-cis/new-format-please-use-it-t90436.0.html;msg651617#msg651617GUI & Help format[/url].

When submitting in the sub board does not work post it in the regular bug board. Mods will then move it to the appropriate board.
