Handling detected threats

(My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this question…)

Anyway, I popped open my CIS window a few minutes ago just to make sure everything was ok, and happened to notice that the virus scanner had logged 2 threats (which turned out to actually be the same threat but two instances of attempted access).

I ended up running a scan on the detected threat’s location in order to get that window where you can choose to quarantine, remove, etc at the end of scan report. My question is, is there a faster way to do it? The scan of that particular folder took several minutes, and I just wanted to deal with the one threat. The window that pops up when you click on the number of detected threats from CIS’s main window does not seem to have any way to interact with the reported items. It lets me see what it found, yes, but I can’t find a way to tell it I want to quarantine, remove, etc a particular item unless I then go and run a scan on the item’s location.

Any advice? Thank you.

You can scan a single file by using the right click on that file and let Comodo scan.
