Guard64 causing crashes in Chromium [M1787]

A. THE BUG/ISSUE (Varies from issue to issue)

Comodo Internet Security is injecting a DLL called guard64.dll into Chrome’s 64-bit process. This is causing a shutdown crash of the ppapi sandboxed process.

Details of this and the investigation can be found here: 603701 - chromium - An open-source project to help move the web forward. - Monorail

Can you reproduce the problem & if so how reliably?:
Yes, on ppapi process shutdown. Every time.
If you can, exact steps to reproduce. If not, exactly what you did & what happened:
1:Install Comodo internet security
2:Attach debugger to Chrome and enable child process debugging (.childdbg 1)
3:Load a flash video
4:Open a new tab, close the Flash tab.
5:When ppapi process terminates, it will crash with following stack: 603701 - chromium - An open-source project to help move the web forward. - Monorail
One or two sentences explaining what actually happened:
Crashes chrome process
One or two sentences explaining what you expected to happen:
Should not crash Chrome process
If a software compatibility problem have you tried the advice to make programs work with CIS?:
This only started happening with the latest release of CIS.
Any software except CIS/OS involved? If so - name, & exact version:
Chrome
Any other information, eg your guess at the cause, how you tried to fix it etc:
CIS should not inject into Chrome’s sandboxed processes

C. ATTACH REQUIRED FILES (delete this section (section C) after attaching required files)
Always attach the diagnostics file (instructions on how to do this provided here) and the KillSwitch Process List (instructions on how to do that provided here) and put the resulting file in a zip file. Both should then be attached to your post.
Note that additional information may be requested by the processing Moderator.

Since this is causing many crashes in Chrome’s ppapi process, we will be blacklisting the DLL from the all Chrome child processes - see Issue 1902853003: Add guard64.dll to sandbox target DLL blacklist. - Code Review

Please get in contact with me wfh at chromium dot org or via PM here if you wish to discuss this further.

Thanks very much for your report. This has been notified specifically to Comodo QA and Product management.

Seeing how this is confirmed by comodo in the mod tracker moving to verified.

Should be fixed with version <8.4.0.5068>.

Thank you.
