gta2 buffer overflow warning

i got my old gta2 cd installed and patched it on my winxp sp3 but when the game starts i get buffer overflow alert from cis latest version.

the app is GTA2.ICD

anyone else have this problem?

Make sure the game is free of malware. Then excluded the file for the BO protection. The BO protection found a bug (buffer overflow) but because there is no malware it won’t be exploited.
