5. Did you install over a previous version without uninstalling first, or import a previous configuration file? (please try to avoid doing these things until we are told it is safe) It was an Auto Install from the last version of CIS 7.0.308911.4080

Step by step description to reproduce the issue. Or if you cannot reproduce it, what you actually did before it happened, step by step.
a) Run a Rating Scan.
b) Open Logs and look at number of Good Files Detected
c) This number will be less than the number of files detected by the Rating Scan This question is crucial as well. The most valuable report is the one with precise, separate, numbered, reproduction steps.
i) When I got to check out View Logs, it shows me Good Files detected in the Cloud of a total of 33 up to now.
ii) So I ran Rating Scan to help more programs to be checked and to be Trusted in the Cloud, However it is not doing that.
iii) However I have Provided 2 Screenshots to show you, on what I am seeing. etc
What actually happened when you carried out these steps Nothing really, I am waiting for the Logs to catch up with the Trusted files.
What you expected to see or happen when you carried out these steps, and why (if not obvious) I cannot really tell you. But I expect to see the same number of Good files, be the same as Trusted files.
Extra Information to help this bug report
I think this has carried over from CIS 7.0.308911.4080 because I did notice it on last version.
The Diagnostics report does show errors, So you can see all in CIS Report.
Please Find my Diagnostics report below, and my two screenshots.
In the post here it is shown that this used to work correctly for CIS 6.3.
Please edit your first post so that it is in the format provided here. Also, add a screenshot showing the relevant part of the logs (if it would help show this issue in any way).
Also, did the logs eventually catch up and show the correct number of trusted files?

I hope this report provides all the information that you need to know.
Okay, did you check and make sure that you are showing the logs for all time, or is this just for a single day? If not please check again and make sure this isn’t where the confusion is coming from.
Is the “Good files detected” really supposed to be the same as trusted files during a rating scan? Perhaps it only shows good files detected using the real-time cloud scanner?
I’m not saying that is how it works, just a possible explanation.
My thinking about this is that it’s likely supposed to be a measure of the results of the automatic Defense+ lookup that happens just before an application starts to run. Therefore, it’s not representative of the Rating Scan results because that’s not what it’s meant for.
However, the HELP files is not entirely clear about this. For reference it can be found here. Is anyone entirely clear about whether that statistic is meant to include the results from a Rating Scan?
Well on 6.3 Trusted files matched up to Good Files. That is what I remember, but only happened after rating scan.
But on my last report. after running a fresh rating scan. Good files moved from 33 to 38. And Trusted files moved from 1048 to 1062 So I am still puzzled.
I have not restarted Laptop or done anything, apart from run a fresh Rating Scan.
Well then I don’t know, I was probably wrong but I can chip in and say that I experience the same thing, after rating scan the “Good files detected” still said “0” (I had previously cleared the logs)
I’m not sure if this is expected behavior or not. However, I think it’s worth submitting to the devs. If it is expected behavior they should be able to let us know.
I have updated the first post, and changed the title of this bug to hopefully be more precise. Please look it over and let me know if it accurately reflects the issue you are experiencing. If it does let me know and I will forward this to the devs.
What I am doing now, I have done a Re Install of Windows on my Main Machine, And I’m putting CIS 6.3.302093.2976 on it, then Run the same scans and see how it compares from Good files, to trusted files.
Then I will report my findings.
P.S. I had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 onto my Main Machine due to problems out side of any Comodo Products.
Okay. Let me know what you find from a completely fresh install. Until then I won’t forward it. I’ll wait to see if there is more information to add, and to better understand how it acts.
Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.
Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.
As this was not fixed during the Beta testing period I will move this bug report to the main Bug Reporting Board.
Please check and see if this is fixed with the newest version (7.0.313494.4115)? Please let us know whether it is fixed or you are still experiencing the problem.
Nige_39 has informed me via PM that this is fixed for their main machine. I will therefore close this entry in the tracker and move this report to Resolved. Nige_39, if you find that this is not fixed for your laptop, or the problem returns, please reply to this report and send me a PM, with a link to the report.
