fullscreen apps causes win7 to freeze if defense+ is enabled. is there a real fix for that? or just the ones like turn it off, turn trainmode or game mode on, which are the same as turning it off. if its off anyway, why install it in the first place…

You said Game Mode works? then use game mode;
OR
Use training mode, run all you games one by one then switch to clean PC mode
