Surely 4 minutes is too short a time period to be a full scan ?
Showing no problems with ‘‘diagnostics’’.
I uninstalled Rapport today. Thats the only change to my system.
Thanks

Just run a quick scan and that only take 1 minute. :o
I believe this is normal. The caching technology effectively ensures that the scan will skip over all files which have not changed recently and have been recently scanned. I know there’s more to the algorithm used, but I don’t know enough details to tell you what they are.
Thanks for the reply.
Up until today i have been scanning once a week for nearly 2 years which has generally lasted around 26 minutes with cis.
Why the change today ?
Thanks
Beginning with version 6.0 this caching was introduced. Have you only just recently upgraded to version 6? If not, how long ago did you update?
Sorry , where can i check the latest updates and what version i’m now running ?
In windows control panel comodo dragon has a date of the 3rd of this month.
Please post a screenshot of the main CIS GUI.
Thanks.
Chiron,
In ‘‘about’’ it shows this ;
Product version 6.2.285401.2860
Database version 16831
Is that what you need ?
Thanks
Yes. That means that you are using version 6, which includes the caching I mentioned.
I believe that in general the more often you scan the lower the scan time will be. Is that perhaps what you are experiencing?
