I’m having lots of trouble using Ipswitch FTP Pro. Although I’ve defined it as a trusted application more than once, it never seems to connect to servers without me taking the security level down to ‘allow all’, which is obviously not satisfactory!
Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated!

I don’t use one myself, but you have to find out: is it a passive FTP client or active FTP client? (i assume your not running a server…).

If it’s an active FTP, you need to open an INbound rule in Network Monitor, for the specific ports it needs, for TCP. INbound rule, source port- 21, remote port- the one used by your program.
