Freeze after restart

When I do a restart the Comodo icon in the system tray appears with a red circle and a line through it. When this happens the whole system is locked up [ this has happened a few times without the red circle with the line through it but is still locked up] and I can’t open anything, I have to do a hardboot and I may have to do this 5-10 times before it works. There isn’t any thing I’m doing different each time but turns out to be a ■■■■ shoot when it will work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Configuration - Proactive
FW - Safe mode
Defense+ - Safe mode

Also I keep getting a popup wanting me to name a new network or close the box - what new network??

I don’t know if this is related or not but I have treated it the same each time by closing the box and eventually it will work anyway.

The red circle means CIS is in an error state. Start with running Diagnostics and see if it can fix it and see what it reports. Diagnostics can be found under Miscellaneous.

OK I’ll try that but it hasn’t happened for the last several restarts, seems like posting on this forum fixed it ;D I’ll try it again later tonight.

Thanks for the reply, by the way Comodo is tops over anything I have used in the past !!!
