So I’ve switched over from firefox about a month ago and never looked back. Comodo dragon is the SHIT. The only thing is, downloading in CD sucks. I’ve been trying to get Free Download Manager to work with Comodo Dragon with no avail. Does anyone know any alternative download managers as good as FDM that works with CD?? This is a big big problem for me.
Thanks, I couldn’t get JDChrome to work, but I found another extension called Download Helper written by google. It links all downloads to FDM and other download managers. Google should include this with all their chrome suites.
This Download Helper really works its job!
Thank you, rbtLong.
Although, JD should be working- not JDChrome extension, but JDownloader itself. In the preferences of JD you had to
check “use custom browser” and then put the path where you installed CD. It worked for me.
And if you still don’t understand how to, please follow these steps:
Copy npfdm.dll from C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins into C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Dragon\Plugins folder
Of course, in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Dragon\ folder has no Plugins folder. So you must create New Folder, and rename it Plugins. Then go inside Plugins folder, paste npfdm.dll file
Please UNCHECK Free Download Manager → Options → Settings → Monitoring → Google Chrome. Then OK.
That’s it. You have a download manager for our favorite Comodo Dragon!!! Good luck! If you have a question, ask.
I added some enters to provide a better read. Eric
