:-TD On the ASK Toolbar; it installs into volume informtion system ??? I had to delete all my restore points, twice to get rid of it. Installing toolbars goes against my better judgement and the latter changes my internet options. You are loosing ground in my opinion, Darrell.
System Volume Information folder is where System Restore backups are placed (not installed) so files in that folder were likely placed due to unmanned system restore creation made by Windows itself.
As of CIS 3.10, hopsurf is the featured toolbar. As usual the related installation is optional and can be opted out by unticking the corresponding check-boxes.
