FIXED - CIS and Video Games: Black Screen of Do-Nothing

Hi!

I’m running 64 bit Windows 7 (Yes, factory released, I got it through my university,) and Comodo CIS 3.12.111745.560. (Phew, that’s a lot of numbers.)

In all other ways, Comodo is doing fine. However! I have to turn it off when I want to play two particular games (I haven’t tried a ton of other full-screen ones lately, so I don’t have a full list of other games that crash to it, too.). Those two games, for reference, are Oblivion and Dawn of War II.

The issue, when I try to run them while Comodo is running, is that my computer will boot to a black screen…and stay there. It’s not that the computer has frozen, because there will still be noises from my desktop, (Pidgin or Winamp,) and the mouse moves, but I can’t alt-tab, ctrl-alt-del, alt-F4, or anything. I have to hard reset the compy.

I’ve already defined the exes for the programs in the firewall tab as ‘trusted applications’. I don’t think it is internet related, as Oblivion doesn’t connect online. (Though DoWII does.)

Does anyone have any ideas? D: I dun like having to turn off my security, especially for online games.

Yup! That worked! Thanks! I didn’t search ‘gamers’ when I looked around the forums.
