Firewall without Launchpad

I have been using Comodo FW now for a few days, and so far it seems to be doing a nice job.

What i was wondering is, if it possible to have the firewall launch on startup without having the
launchpad process started at bootup as well. I strive to have the least amount of processes
as possible running on this machine.

Thanks

Hi and welcome,

Yes it is (sort of) by going to start>>run>>type ‘msconfig’ (without quotes)>>go to startup tab>>deselect ‘CLPTray’.

This will stop LaunchPad opening, but it may cause CPF to crash occasionally. Alternatively, you wait a short while until Comodo make LaunchPad a user defined option. Not sure how long this will be, however.
