firewall not working properly [Resolved]

I reinstalled comodo firewall. Every time i start it up it has a red circle with a line through it in the system tray.When i open it it displays the following msg under summary:Network firewall is not functioning properly! please run the diagnostics utility to fix the problem.I ran the utility and it said everything is fine. i run xp pro sp2.
