Hi everyone, I installed the new Comodo IS package today…the new release *.916 June release package…I noticed when I check the # of applications that are active and running in memory on the firewall it gives me a certain number like 62 when my pc is rebooted and refreshed. When I open IE or other apps…the firewall then gives me a a number like 72…thats fine and normal but when i close the apps the process remain open in the firewall for the remainder of the time my pc is on…I check my processes on my PC and it does not show the processes open…a good example is IE…when I open IE one process opens up…then if i close it and open another a second process pops up before I know it have like 15 IE sessions running according to the firewall when in reality I have only two…same with other apps…its not releasing these proceses…i had the older Comodo firewall on this pc before and had no problem…I had one instance of this happening on the old firewall…to clear the problem I deleted all instances of IE from my rule base and Defense +…it then worked fin and the processes release when closed…but I checked to see where in Defense + IE would be in the rule base and cannot find it…I can find the firewall rule but not the Defsne + rule for IE…sooooo…I’m stuck here…I’musing Win 7 64 too…please help…thank you…
