firewall not functioning properly

hello, I was searching for a firewall which could be an alternative to sygate (used for years). many hours spent on the internet, many forums read, rankings, uset opinions etc → the choice: comodo

fresh installation of windows 2003 enterprise edition 5.2.3790 Service Pack: 2.0 Processor: 32 bit + SP2 + all hotfixes
comodo firewall 3.8.65951.477
hardware platform: AMD x64

in short: firewall can not function properly. I did a check: some problems found → do you wish to correct them: yes → sorry, comodo coudn’t fix it. did a report: [Incompatible Software]: No

again, many hours spent on the internet looking for solution → found: none (did some tricks with zones etc., generally all I could find in this forum too)

I am very dissapointed. I had very positive attitude towards comodo. As for now I will not recommend this software to any of my colleagues.

I wish I could help → ask me for some testing, more information if you like. I will prepare virtual machine to do some testing.

but as for now I stay with Sygate.

cheers,
geos

i wish i knew mate, i have been searching this forum and the net for a work around to this problem for 2 days now.

I had/have the same problem, mine is worse because everytime i try to uninstall comodo i lose all internet, i cant even use system restore because I recenty had a virus and had to remove all old restore points to make sure the virus had gone, so i dont have any restore points proir to installing comodo.

I think comodo is a great program, but now i left with no internet at all?

Seems no one is interested in fixing this problem or making an uninstaller for comodo. Shame really!, once i get my internet back im going back to zonealarm, i should never have changed over to comodo!
