After trying many firewalls - paid for & free - I have been using CFP for a year now & love this firewall. It is the best. The only problem I have encountered with it is - after using it for awhile it becomes loaded with apps & components, & will begin to initialize at startup & not stop unless I manually change the protection setting. I have found it is good to periodically uninstall CFP & reinstall it to clear the overload, much of which lingers & is unnecessary.

CPF isn’t initialzing, it’s up and running.
It’s just a common problem with CPF, nothing to worry about.
