Why is there no logs in firewall events for today? On one PC the last entry is a month ago.

In standard config, VERY few rules ever log anything. Check your Network Security Policy and enable “log when rule fired” on the rules that you wonna see in action and your log should fill up soon enough 
Thanks Ollie. I was not able to connect to a pc on lan today and thought it might be firewall. Working now
