Firewall delayed start?

Hi there,

I am using Windows Vista SP2 32-bit, running Comodo Firewall 7.0.317799.4142.

Recently a strange situation keeps coming up. Sometimes when I start my computer and log in, the Windows Security Centre icon would come up in the taskbar and gives a message “Your firewall is turned off”.

After a minute or so, the icon would go away and the Comodo Firewall icon would appear.

I think it seems like for some reasons Comodo firewall has a delayed start?

Cheers.

Hi brightness,

I’m guessing that your issue might be related to disk performance. You could try a disk defragmentation.
Additionally, you could try a reinstallation. #guide

I defrag my HDD almost every second to three days.

The problem does not really bother me too much, but I just want to know why it is happening.

Unfortunately, the data you’ve provided is not sufficient for an accurate verdict.
Try this fix from attachment which should clear the tray icon cache. After that, restart your computer system.

Hope it helps.

I have downloaded the .bat file and run it. But the problem still persists.

Update to version <8.0.0.4337>.
Additionally, please use this guide.
