Hello
I have COMODO FIREWALL 3.13.125662.579 and it crashes when the computer starts up (cfp.exe (if I remmeber well). Can anything be done? (Computer has just been installed with windows 7, so the COMODO was a very clean install).

Please try updating the program to the latest .581 using the updater under Miscellaneous.
Does the problem persist? When is does go to Miscellaneous → Diagnostics and let it run. Does it report a problem and can it fix it? In case of a reported problem what is it reporting?
i got the same problem using windows 7 ultimate 32bits
i use only firewall function of comodo
it ramdom crash at startup
and if i manually start it again, it’s fine
i’m already using the lastest version and the diagnostic tool report no error.

I had the same problem! So I searched for this forum. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a solution here, so I tried doing some things myself. I think it worked.
At first I had this error:
Popup SynId2: cfp.exe
I downloaded the latest version (at least I think I did since I downloaded it yesterday from Comodo’s website), but kept getting the error. Then I tried updating windows 7… and the error disappeared! I hope it will keep working. But you guys may try this ‘solution’. I hope it helps, since I know what a pain in the ■■■ it is if computer related stuff doesn’t work the way you want to.
