so can any one tell how to ublock it?

Try giving Hotmail Live Manager the Email client policy.

how do i do that.

amd like i said its not only a problem of my hotmail.

its also my messenger
and my internet download manager

To give Hotmail Live Manager (HLM) the Email client policy go to Firewall → Network Security Policy → Application Rules. When there choose Add and in the dialogue that pops up choose Select → then chose to point to HLM by either selecting it from Running Processes or by pointing to the HLM executable using Browse.

When selected you are back in the previous screen. Now choose use a Predefined Policy and choose the Email Client policy. Then Ok and Apply your way back to the main screen.

Can you also post screenshot(s) of the firewall logs (View Firewall Events) to see what exactly is being blocked for the various programs you reported?

did it but my HLM is still blocked :frowning:

Can you also post screenshot(s) of the firewall logs (View Firewall Events) to see what exactly is being blocked for the various programs you reported? That will help to more accurately understand what is going on.

The rules for email with Windows Live Messenger are pretty straight forward (see image) You can make them more specific by using the ip address blocks for Hotmail/Live in the destination address field.

i did it but my firewall still blocking it :frowning:

The configuration I posted worked for me, however, as I don’t use messenger, I didn’t post the rules. I’ve just run through the process again, including messenger and confirmed it all works.

If you’re still having problems, you need to post screen shots of your Application and Global firewall rules, along with the firewall logs.
