Firewall and HTTPS connectons

Hi,

This is my first post and i just need a little advice.

I am connecting from my PC wireless to a router.
I have Avira Anti Virus
Comodo firewall and Defence.
IE 9 and Windows 7

In active connections i can see lots of connections from my laptop ip address to the range 8.15.246.xxx using HTTPS port 443. Not sure why it is doing this?

Is this normal. I did a check on the ip addresses and they all belong to LEVEL3

Welcome zuhud. On secure web sites (ssl) this is most likely normal behaviour. Also remote assistance uses this port as far as I know. Kind regards

I am still not sure.

I am not connecting to any ssl websites when i see this issue.

I have disable remote assistance.

I have just stealthed my ports and can see alot more 80 connections now.

I have captured a log of active connections when i open a single IE webpage nothing else and i get lots of connections sending and recieveing 60 Bytes.
