I’ve tried setting firefox to run without a parent check, but the firewall seems to forget that its supposed to skip the parent check, so every so often I get a message asking if it should be allowed to connect when it is launched from a different program. I haven’t quite figured out a pattern, (ie after every reeboot), it seems to be pretty random. Any suggestions?

I’m gonna reply here too to state I have the exact same problem but cannot find a solution. No one replied to this thread and so I opened another thread since it happens to other programs I use too.
Anyone have any knowledge of this parent check problem?
How many rules do you have for FF in the Application Monitor?
