Here is a topic I found on how to clean portable browsers such as Comodo Dragon and IceDragon. You need to enable the cleaner.ini configuration file in order to add the browsers to get cleaned.
…I’m not sure if it’s a deficiency of the CCleaner defaults for IceDragon, but in regards to the “.sqlite” entries, on my machine, CCleaner did not include “cookies.sqlite”. It includes:
downloads.sqlite
content-prefs.sqlite
permissions.sqlite
formhistory.sqlite
but, does not include the “cookies” entry. The path to this folder that contains these entries is:
Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Comodo\IceDragon\Profiles\yyb61yqd.default
and I had to set the “show hidden files and folders” to get to it, so I could use the “add” function in CCleaner “options” to include it - hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
Ccleaner just added support for Comodo IceDragon, so if there are any issues or uncleaned files that should be cleaned, report it here: http://forum.piriform.com/
…I’m not a registered account holder /w/ Piriform Forums, & am not interested in starting one /w/ only one issue, & then never use it again, but Thanx anyways…
Hi, Just upgraded to v4.04 and works perfectly with my version of IceDragon (20.0.1.14) with default settings, Ccleaner cleared cookies, history etc., just as it does in FireFox.
