What torrent trackers does everyone use? For public I like BTJunkie & kickasstorrents. I also have Demonoid & Cinemageddon.
I’ve not used torrents for a while, I’m too scared Comcast will see the torrent data and send the police to my house (even though it isn’t illegal). ;D
For public I use rutracker and (semi-private/public) Demonoid. for TV I use EZTV. I also use a couple of private trackers.

Use protocol encryption to obfuscate the torrent traffic. if that’s not enough use a VPN or proxy, such as BTGuard - Anonymous BitTorrent Services
Oh, I know there are ways around it, but nowadays I really don’t have too much of a need anymore, I use to use torrent sites strictly to download TV shows I missed during the week, would watch them then delete them.
But now as a college student I really don’t have time to watch them anyways ;D, that and I can find many of the shows I try to watch (when I do have a little free time) on some of the various streaming sites such as Hulu.
Also we just changed to a cheaper Comcast plan in my household to try and save a little money and unfortunately the internet is much slower than what we were use to, so downloading through torrent would kill internet speed for all the other PCs in my house. But again, the main reason I would use it was to watch TV shows, and they are all available on the streaming sites now, so no point anymore.

I don’t trust any public tracker any more, or demonoid either. I just use a private SSL secured tracker that even if I named it you wont be able to find. Give me a PM if you want an invite. :-TU
Demomiod has really gone down hill, but it’s still useful for the odd music torrent.
I haven’t been on Demonoid long but I will admit I was disappointed.
