When I try to install the Chrome version of our browser app in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, you are flagging us in your “Comodo behavior blocker”, causing the need to select the “Run Unlimited” more than once to fully install the browser app. Is there any way to eliminate this step?
This is to inform you that the reported file with SHA1 <80702d38bfa41b8cc3285b07879badc5b40da08c> is not detected by AV database Version <18939> of COMODO Internet Security <7.0.317799.4142>.
Please Update you AV database and scan it again.
Hi Qiuhui.■■■■,
I’m still seeing the same messages - in the “Comodo behavior blocker”, in both Win 7 and Win 8.1 and on both IE and Chrome. I’ve updated my AV database several times, including just a few minutes ago. This happens on the install, not a post-install scan.
Can you look into this again? The install link is http://www.shopathome.com/sahpages/freetoolbar.aspx.
The behavior blocker runs on Comodo “safe” list, not by the antivirus. If a file is picked up by the Behavior blocker it is unknown and should be submitted to Comodo for analysis. If you distribute the file in question than you can apply here (Comodo Firewall | Get Best Personal Firewall Software for $29.99 A Year) for your file to be considered for whitelisting.
I have not heard anything back about our Trusted Vendor request and we’re still having the same “Isolation” problem. I’ve filled out the form at (http://internetsecurity.comodo.com/trustedvendor/signup.php) more than once, but have not heard back from anyone.
Can you tell me why it is considered unsafe? You were not blocking us before we noticed this in August. Are there criteria from your company that we need to meet?
