False positive ???

CIS suddenly (one day) reported a server setup file (for a multiplayer game) as a virus. I am 99% sure it’s not a virus (I have it on PC for almost 3 years now and none of the AV-s I had so far detected it this way) and it’s also strange that it happened so suddenly. It didn’t detect it week ago at last scan, so it’s probably because of signature update.

Zipped file: http://www.hotlinkfiles.com/files/2320926_7oxvt/w3battle_122a.zip

Please submit the file to Comodo using CIS>Miscellaneous>Submit Suspicious files

or through

https://forums.comodo.com/false_positivenegative_reporting_is_this_a_malware_that_cis_hasnot_detected/tutorial_on_zipping_sending_archive_files-t31890.0.html

the above mode.

This is is shown as unclassified… Comodo will classify it properly.

Regards,

I tried to submit the file with CIS and it said it’s already submitted. It was already done then.

Hi,

This has been fixed, please update to latest CIS V477 and update virus signature database to latest.

Thanks
