False Positive for CIS on Chrome/IE/Firefox

Dear all,

I would like to share with you a possible False Positive from CIS. Last week I downloaded the Adobe from

http://aihdownload.adobe.com/bin/install_reader10_en_mssa_aih.exe

And since then I’ve been receiving the Buffer Overflow warning from CIS due to shellcode injection of Firefox, Chrome and IE. After a short search on Internet I found the topic

https://forums.comodo.com/av-false-positivenegative-detection-reporting/adobe-flash-player-32bit-t86262.0.html

Where says that the new version this FP were solved, so after an update on the CIS to Version <5.10.228257.2253> No more warnings from Firefox or Chrome has been detected but from IE still remains. Also every time that I download any file from internet and try to open it, using Firefox or Chrome, I can’t because the same issue of Buffer Overflow is detected and closes the application.

I thought that could be some kind of virus so I download the CCE and no bugs were found.

Am I facing a False Positive?

I have Avast and CIS on my Windows XP.

Thanks,
