False positive detection on setup updater file while installing

Comodo Internet Security - CIS AV False Positive/Negative Detection Reporting

Hi ,

When we install the power pack set up file attached in this post then , Comodo detects and quarantine a malware. I used the Comodo Internet Security version <5.10.228257.2253> with database version <14209>

I have reported it to the avlab.comodo.com and they replied that they do not detect it as virus. Upon retesting i figured out it still is detected as a malware.

Please re-check and investigate this detection .

I am also attaching the screenshot of the error.

Hi sameer_raj ,

This is to inform you that false-positive has been fixed.
You can update to AV database Version <14214> of Comodo Internet Security Version<5.10.228257.2253> and confirm it.

Thanks for the update. I tested it on AV database Version <14214> of Comodo Internet Security Version<5.12.256249.2599> and it is still reproducible.

The Malware alert is still there.
