Having installed CIS (ver 4.0.138377.779) last week, tried several times to update the virus database and failed at 60%, “check internet connection” mesage.
Then tried this board and am very surprised to see other threads saying that CIS has had this problem for several months for big updates, third party developers have even produced download software to get round the problem!!
Surely this is a basic thing that CIS should get right?! Obviously CIS is not aimed at computer plebs like me who just want AV that works!
Methinks time to go back to AVG.
