Extreme scan times

I have use CIS before and never had one problem but i recently uninstallled avast and installed th CAV (already using the firewall) but now im getting extremely long scans the first full scan was 4 hours long but it scanned both partitions so i didnt think anything of it. then i started a custom scan that just scans my windows 7 partition…i left it overnight, i woke up and looked at it its not done and its been going for 10 hours!

This looks like a bug, but are you certain you’ve removed all parts of Avast?

I’m pretty sure i even used CPM to uninstall it!

Has it stalled? Are any more files being checked?

If not, do you have Cloud Scanning turned on in Antivirus Scans?

wierd it seems to have fixed it self this can be closed!

Did you have cloud scanning checked? I ask because I’m curious if this could have been a problem with the servers, in case someone else has the same problem in the future.

No i did not have it checked and even though i wanted to i didn’t mess with the settings out of the box
