Export settings

Is there any way to save (export) the firewall settings?

  1. Last updates forced me to uninstall, boot, install again: settings were lost.
  2. If there is a way, which files and Windows registry keys should be saved?

(The problem with Windows Security Center is still there :slight_smile:

Hi Tech,

Export the folowing registry key and its subkeys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Personal Firewall

Then import them back after install, to back up your configuration and rules.

From version 2.4 you will be able to keep your existing rules in CPF when reinstalling.

Just to add to what mike6688 says, when you reimport the settings into the Registry, be sure and shut CPF down first. Otherwise the import will fail,
