explorer.exe uses 3-6% CPU even without doing anything [resolved]

Anybody notice the same? I have 32-Bit XP SP2.

I could’ve sworn it was always silent @ 0% CPU long ago.

Mine did the same. Now with SP3 it is still doing the same. Maybe it’s just the cost of keeping the toolbar, etc, up on the bottom.

■■■■ M$ even cheap at the explorer level (:AGY). I suppose it must be due to one or more the Windows Update patches…
