Explorer.exe in Blocked Applications

CFW 10 in Proactive config, on Windows 10.
Explorer.exe somehow landed in Blocked Applications, it was blocked by HIPS.
But it is not in Unrecognized Files.
Blocked applications count is at 1, and unrecognized files count is at 0.
Should I just ignore the block, or should I “unblock” it?

Always check the log to see why something is blocked when you see safe applications listed in blocked applications. It was most likely trying to access one of CIS processes in memory. You can ignore it as unblocking it won’t really do anything.

Thanks. That explains a lot of the strange blocks I have seen in the past, they usually had to do with memory access.

You will see this a lot with task manager or process explorer.
