Exclude Folder from File Rating

Hi there,
is it possible to exclude a folder from the File Rating list? I am developing software an a machine that runs CIS Pro 10. So every time i compile one a program a new and unknown executable is generated, sometimes a couple of hundred per day.
To prevent CIS from scanning them all i’ve excluded some directories for the Antivirus and Hips. But i haven’t managed to get exclude my developement directories from the File Rating list, so the list grows and grows with lots of unrecognized files. Can I prevent this?

Cheers,
Fred

Try to treat the development tool which you are using to develop the software as an Installer/Updater in the HIPS rules → all child files created by applications in the Installer/Updater ruleset are trusted.

Hello,
thanks for your answer but i have already done that to stop HIPS from nagging all the time, that works but the new executable still keep showing up in the File Rating dialog :frowning:

Cheers,
Fred

I don’t think there is a way to make it not appear in the file rating.
