No changes in Advanced - umm, I don’t know how so I suppose I didn’t

Every once in a while CIS will run a scan the runs (possibly) forever. It seems to stick every time at
. . . Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5 KB958 . . . and will stay there for LITERALLY hours. The file count stops incrementing so I conclude the it is one file causing the problem.
How do I resolve this?

When making a bug report about the av scanner hanging please follow How to determine which file is causing a manual scan to hang to give the devs the information they need. Otherwise your bug report will more than likely go unnoticed.
