Error timestamping JAR files

I’m having a problem timestamping jar files, I get the error:

jarsigner: unable to sign jar: java.io.IOException: MIME Content-Type is not application/timestamp-reply

Which is exactly the same as the problem found in this thread:

Can comodo please advise on the correct way to timestamp jar files

Hi,

unfortunately at this time we do not support timestamping JARs.

However, I will suggest our developers add this sort of functionality to our arsonal. I can not guarantee it will ever be added.

We would also like to timestamp our JAR files. Has any progress been made for this request?
