Error 101: Update could not be completed. Passed Url is incorrect, please retry, this could happen due to an incomplete download.
How can I fix this? I have tried turning off windows firewall and it did nothing to help out. I’m not using Comodo firewall as it is not compatible with my system. Running Windows 7 Beta. Could that be the issue?
This is using “checking for updates” under the “miscellaneous” tab. Thanks guys!
Oh yeah, this is using CIS 3.8 Beta.
Still nothing eh?

Hi Duskao
If you’re using the BETA, you should really post in BETA section… or if it’s a possible bug into the bug report topic itself.
However, leading question… after you installed the BETA did you import your settings from your previous installation?
I have just clean installed the new full version and getting Error 101. I am using Windows 7, Is this the problem?
Paul.
Did you install under Vista Compatibility mode and as admin?
I am getting the same problem, I am also using Windows 7 Beta.
Paul.
Since Windows 7 isn’t officially supported, there’s bound to be more problems with it than in Vista or XP.
You could try changing CIS’s exe files to run in Vista Compatibility mode, but I don’t know. When I ran CIS in Win7, is worked fine. :THNK
