Error 0x80004002 when updating...

Hi Folks,

I’m running Windows XP Service Pack 3 and I uninstalled my old Anti-Virus (avast) on Sunday and firewall (comodo) and installed CIS_3.8.65951.477. Since then I have been having a couple of problems…

When the anti virus tries to update it fails and gets a message: “Error Code: 0x80004002. No such interface is supported”. The same message is shown when I try to do a scan.
After reading this thread https://forums.comodo.com/anti_virus_help/antivirus_engine_not_initialized-t33373.0.html I checked the Database version and it was 0, so I followed Ronny’s advice and bingo - it worked. (thanks Ronny)

I updated the database and ran a scan without any problems.

However, Later on this evening I tried to update and same thing happened including the database version going back to 0 :frowning:

Any help would be gratfully recieved…
