Epson scan

When I run Comodo Autorun, here is what I see:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths
Escfg.exe EPSON Scan SEIKO EPSON CORP. Analysing C:\Windows\twain_32\escndv\escfg.exe
Estcfg.exe EPSON Scan SEIKO EPSON CORP. Analysing C:\Windows\twain_32\escndv\estcfg.exe

I am using Autorun to verify that I don’t have viruses or malware on my computer before installing Comodo Firewall. I’m not sure what the above means, whether some action is required of me, or whether I can safely ignore these autorun results and be confident that my computer is free of junk before installing a firewall.

Obviously I’m not very tech savvy. Help would be appreciated.

From the looks of it these look like entries for Twain drivers for your Epson printer/scanner device. You could check the estcfg.exe and see if it has a digital signature and if it is valid. If it is signed and valid then you are dealing with untouched files from Epson and you have nothing to worry about.
